Our Activities
Our activities include the promotion and sales of technologies, catalysts, adsorbents, equipment and modular skids, along with the associated services for these offerings. Specifically, for catalysts and adsorbents supply, our sales team also covers the South Korea market.
Axens South East Asia provides technical assistance to users of Axens technologies and products as well as expertise for Gas modular skid design, engineering procurement and fabrication.
Meet our Local Experts and Managing Director
I first joined Axens in 2004 as a Process Engineer. Over the years, prior to my current position, I have enjoyed the different experience as Project Manager for Biofuel Technology, Technology Manager for conversion technology for the worldwide market, and finally Technology Advisor for the Asia Pacific region. Having close contact with clients by providing support and solution to them and contributing to the professional network in the industry to address technology challenges, transformation, and to prepare energy transition are my main sources of motivation and satisfaction throughout those work positions.
As Managing Director for Axens Regional Operations Centers in Malaysia, my main objective is to ensure Axens’ growth in the region while providing a high standard and motivating work ambiance for all our employees so that they will be able to have the same work satisfaction as I am.
I joined Axens in 2021 as Project Engineer and it has been an exciting journey for me as a member of the Projects team - working with a diverse mix of colleagues at the KL office and also from other Axens offices, taking on concrete responsibilities as part of projects for international clients and also managing various local and international equipment suppliers. There are plenty of opportunities to learn while working on the different Axens technologies and this is the most enjoyable part of my role.
As a Technical Services Engineer with Axens South East Asia, my responsibility undertakes Petrochemical customers all over Asia Pacific region. The primary accountability is to provide technical support to Axens licensees and/or units loaded with Axens catalyst/adsorbents, to operate optimally, profitably and safely. With this objective in mind, a Technical Service Engineer will have regular interaction with his customers, and with other global Axens experts involved in same technology, as well as assisting in troubleshooting and performance monitoring portfolios.
On top of these roles, my responsibility also involves in delivering on-site support for start-ups, inspections and/or catalyst/adsorbent loadings for Axens process units.
While being on-site, my duty as a Technical Services Engineer is to ensure such loading/startup activities are carried out according to Axens’ specifications, in order for the unit to achieve guaranteed performance.
Beyond all the technical services and site support mentioned above, I also played a role in delivering process technology training as well as co-organizing process workshop to Axens’ customers.
It gives me a great pleasure and satisfaction when a customer meets their desired process outputs through the solutions and support services provided to them.
