As a Process discipline lead on modular projects, I tackle many exciting challenges. With a team of process engineers and in collaboration with other engineering and project representatives, I find, defend, and implement safe and robust process engineering solutions for the modularization of Axens' technologies that sustain energy transition, always following the best engineering standards of our industry.
Sales
We leverage one of the broadest offerings in the industry to support our clients’ energy transition and decarbonization, with the ambition of being their trusted partner. Our Sales teams combine technological mastery with a dedication to exceptional service, continually seeking out insights into client needs to ensure our solutions meet them.

In my commercial role, the technical aspect is crucial. My European clients are concerned about the future and want to commit to the energy transition and decarbonization. Our technologies and solutions aim to reduce their carbon footprint: this is embedded in the DNA of Axens. It’s exciting to walk this journey with them: on complex projects, they always think of me as a reliable solution.
Field Services
Working close to the daily reality of our customers allows us to provide the best possible response to their needs. Onsite or remotely, our teams are present to support them, from start-up through to technical assistance, construction, inspection and adaptation. We help them meet technical and operational challenges in compliance with the most stringent health and safety standards.

One day, you wake up in Paris and fly to Alger with your laptop and printed equipment drawings. The next day, you’re inside a column inspecting trays alongside Algerian clients, Spanish colleagues and Chinese partner. One week later, in China you work on another unit after heartfelt thanks from your team and client. It’s fulfilling to make a difference, solving challenges and building connections with cultures and expertise around the globe.
Digital
Digital technology plays a pivotal role in leveraging data to optimize processes and enhance performance. Our team comprises industry engineers with specialized digital expertise who engage in innovative projects that benefit our clients, plants and employees. Our approach allows us to provide added value to our customers, especially more agile decision-making, increased operational efficiency, and a reduction in costs and time. We prioritize collaboration and continuous learning, fostering a stimulating and enriching work environment.

Working for a data-driven company like Axens, I develop data-centric solutions that enhance our expertise and optimize the performance of our clients’ facilities and Axens’ strategy. By harnessing data, I help our clients identify new opportunities to increase their profitability while reducing their environmental impact. My roadmap is driven by client feedback, ensuring we provide impactful insights that leverage data to deliver value.
Manufacturing
At our manufacturing sites, we design, develop, improve and produce equipment and products such as catalysts, adsorbents and modules for our customers around the world. This involves a wide array of specialized professional skills, bolstered by strict health and safety standards, and channeled to a single objective: to serve our customers, all while ensuring quality, deadlines, and the commitments outlined in our Climate Strategy.

As a member of the Axens team for 20 years, time flies; I still feel like it all started yesterday.

Integral to our business, a range of cross-cutting support teams work across our activities to co-construct solutions with business teams. Working on a variety of projects and in a variety of contexts, they have both a bird’s-eye view of the company and an involvement with those on the ground that allows actions adapted to specific challenges. I oversee the legal affairs of the Group's companies, playing a pivotal role in their expansion into new markets. This dynamic and rewarding role challenges me daily, requiring close collaboration and a keen understanding of both internal and external stakeholders. Jeremy: When I interviewed Inès, I saw myself as a younger version of myself, sitting on the benches of the engineering school. I approached our discussion with openness and transparency. Inès asked sharp and relevant questions that revealed her ambition to succeed in her assignment. Our mentor-apprentice duo is, above all, a real connection. It’s also a win-win relationship, both for Axens and for Inès' engineering school.
Ines: I appreciate the team spirit and the trust placed in interns. It has empowered me to push myself further on the very concrete projects entrusted to me. From the moment I was hired, I felt that people were at the heart of everything and there was a genuine effort to ensure I felt welcome at Axens. Additionally, my mentor Jeremy, has been guiding me with advice on how to balance the complementary worlds of professional and student life.
Good mentoring of juniors is one of the aspects that encouraged me to stay at Axens. The company aims to support and guide young professionals throughout their careers and encourages them to take on responsibilities in stimulating projects. Several initiatives contribute to this: personalized mentoring, tailored training, social initiatives and team-building activities that create a positive work atmosphere.
I chose to be a mentor to inspire students to pursue a career in Process Engineering. I am committed to involving young employees in projects where Axens provides technologies for producing renewable fuels that address the challenges of climate change. This passion for innovation is naturally supported by a corporate culture focused on sharing, mutual support and diversity.
After graduating from ENSIC, I joined Axens with a Voluntary International Corporate program in Kuala Lumpur as a Project Engineer. I work closely with a Project Manager interacting with our clients and subcontractors, supported by my manager. At Axens, I was drawn to its extensive international work environment and the commitment required to address the challenges of the energy transition.
I’ve been motivated to join AXENS having the opportunity to work on projects as part of a team, with the autonomy to propose technical solutions. Sharing my ideas, contribute actively to discussions and participate in the search for innovative solutions is essential. This allows me to broaden my skills while having a direct impact on the company's success.

I am part of an international community, in a unique way. I interact with people from all over the world and must liaise with a variety of languages, cultures, perspectives, and needs. Each interaction is unique because of the diverse backgrounds and personal contexts people bring. I must think out of the box to deal with clients’ expectations. To sum up, I feel a positive impact in my interpersonal and technical skills while performing my job.
