Phenol Production

The purpose of AMS Hydrogenation Unit is to convert the main by-product resulting from the Phenol process, Alpha-Methyl-Styrene (AMS), to Cumene while preserving the aromatic nucleus and therefore avoiding the hydrogenation of Cumene to isopropylcyclohexane (IPCH).
