Purification Series Adsorbents
“Purification” can refer to different kind of impurities polishing. For an easier segmentation and accessibility, dedicated webpages are available addressing specific contaminants purification such as drying, sulfur, arsine, mercury, fluoride and chloride removal. This webpage will focus mainly on the removal of polar compounds (oxygenates, nitrogen and sulfur) as well as TBC (Ter-Butyl-Catechol: polymerization inhibitor).
These contaminants have to be removed mainly due to their toxicity, avoiding corrosion issues, freezing concerns (downstream of the cold boxes used for liquefaction), preventing downstream catalysts deactivation and also meeting final products high purity level. These products are widely used in different markets such as refining, petrochemicals, chemicals, natural gas, air and industrial gas.
AxSorb® 902
AxSorb® 902 is the newest generation adsorbent for reduced reactivity towards olefins.
The most common application of this product is the removal of trace impurities including oxygenates, nitrogen and sulfur compounds from olefin streams.
AxSorb® 911
AxSorb® 911 is a regenerative molecular sieve for adsorption of polar molecules from natural gas, LPGs, NGL, olefins, air, etc.
It features a very high selectivity towards a large range of molecules (sulfur, oxygenates and nitrogen compounds), and a high adsorption capacity even at low impurity concentrations.
AxSorb® 913
AxSorb® 913 is a regenerative molecular sieve for adsorption of polar molecules from natural gas, LPGs, NGL, olefins, air, etc.
It features a very high selectivity towards a large range of molecules (sulfur, oxygenates and nitrogen compounds), and a high adsorption capacity even at low impurity concentrations.
AxSorb® 920
AxSorb® 920 is an activated alumina with high surface area excellent for drying and TBC removal of both gas and liquids.
Adsorbent reactivity towards olefins is minimized.
AxSorb® 926
AxSorb® 926 is a very high capacitive adsorbent for TBC removal. Adsorbent reactivity toward olefins is minimized.
AxSorb® 951
AxSorb® 951 is a regenerative molecular sieve for adsorption of polar molecules.
This product is commonly used for sweetening of natural gas, NGL and LPG, but also for hydrogen purification, particularly by pressure swing adsorption (PSA).
AxSorb® 980
AxSorb® 980 is a promoted adsorbent especially developed for removal of CO2, COS, CS2 and other sulfur species from gas and liquid hydrocarbon streams.
AxSorb® 980 is also a catalyst of low temperature COS hydrolysis.
AxSorb® 984
AxSorb® 984 is a best-in-class regenerative promoted adsorbent especially developed to exhibit high capacities for removal of CO2, COS and other sulfur species from gas and liquid hydrocarbon streams.
AxSorb® 990
AxSorb® 990 is a regenerative promoted adsorbent especially develop to exhibit high capacity for removal of CO2 from various gases and olefins streams. It is also effective for drying.
